This last picture is of half-pipe snowboarder, Shaun White.  Shaun has been to the Olympics 5 times, and he has won a gold medal 3 times!

Tulip Fields of Holland

Holland is famous for its tulip fields because it has a long springtime season with cool nights.  The soil there is also well drained but always moist, which is what tulips love!

These tulip fields are beautiful, but the people of Holland actually use their fields to grow the tulip bulb, not the flower.

The Flower Parade in Holland will celebrate its 75th annual parade this year.  All of the floats in the parade are made of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths.  You can imagine how delightful the smell is!
